Data Sources

Many securities, especially amortizing bonds (mortgage-backed pools, CMO’s, etc.) require third party data used to reflect the status of the holdings. This includes pay-down factors and variable rates. FT-IDC (a Boston corporation) is are our primary source for this data. Another requirement is the acquisition of market values. FT-IDC is the vendor who provides these prices. (FT-IDC refers to Financial Times Interactive Data Corporation.)
